National Novel Writing Month (NANOWRIMO) is about to start soon. I’m excited this time. I plan to complete all 50,000 words this time. I’m ready. I’m ready. Yes, I’m trying to pump myself up. I’ve tried so many years. I have attended writing sessions. Each year becomes a flop. This year, I have a secret weapon. No, it’s not  Scrivener, even though I will be using it to help me achieve this goal. I am using my bullet journal. I just started keeping a bullet journal in January, but I have achieved so much through using it.

If I can just write 2,000 words per day in the beginning, I will achieve my goal. I am using my bullet journal to monitor my progress. I love to write. Yet, I have only published journal articles, a poetry book, and a journal. I want to start writing novels. I have a stories swimming in my head. I need them to be swimming on the pages of my paper.

I am hoping that NANOWRIMO gives me that much needed push to publish another book. I’m a writer. I need to start writing and publishing like the writer that I am.

Are you participating in NANOWRIMO this year? Have you finished NANOWRIMO before? What are your thoughts about NANOWRIMO? Do you use a bullet journal?  Let’s Talk.

  1. I’ve not participated in the NANOWRIMO because…life! I’ve just recently learned about bullet journaling but I’ve been doing it for years and never knew it was called that! Good luck with the NANOWRIMO!
